Diana Djindjikhachvili was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 1977.
Graduated from the Z. Paliashvili Music School in Tbilisi.
After moving to the Netherlands in 1993 she continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, studying under Naum Grubert and Marcel Boudet. She graduated in 2000.
Diana has attended several international master classes (including Lazar Berman, Pnina Salzman, Jorg Demus, Nodar Gabunia, Vladimir Tropp). Her public debut was at the age of 13, with a piano concerto by Mozart. She has made recordings for the Georgian and Dutch television and given many solo recitals in the Netherlands and abroad. She has performed with various chamber ensembles and as a soloist in Chopin's second piano concerto. At a young age, Diana won awards at competitions and performed at music festivals in the Netherlands, Germany and Israel. Currently, Diana performs regularly in her quatre mains duo with Ms. Dessy Radeva.
At a young age she also discovered her passion for teaching. Diana has been teaching children and young adults since 1999, working as an independent teacher and giving piano lessons at the International School Of The Hague (ISH, Malcolm Davies Music Centre) and at home. Her students perform regularly at student concerts and frequently win prizes.
Diana is fluent in four languages: Dutch, English, Russian and Georgian.
